The Role of Julia Jackson in Jackson Family Wines

Julia Jackson the daughter of Barbara Banke and Jess Jackson was always interested in wine. Julia was born in 1988 in San Francisco, California. During her childhood, her father made her sort and pick grapes. Julia’s father taught her the importance of hard work and appreciating her work. After the summers and school, Julia worked at the Jackson family wineries. While working, she became close to the daughter of a French speaking employee who led her to learning the language and living in France. She learned the French way of making wine while living in France.

Living in France inspired her to get involved with global brands of the family’s wines portfolio. Recently, Julia Jackson started working with the marketing and communications departments. She currently works to improve and update the websites for Yangarra, Tenuta di Arceno, anD Château Lassègue. Julia’s mother has been her role model since childhood. Her mother inspires her by her ability to run the company. In 2014, she founded Cambria Seeds of Empowerment to celebrate women who have overcome hardships and inspire people.
